The Stotten Family Tree was started as an exercise in trying to find out how  far I could go back with a name that is not exactly common and to find out if  possible where it originated from. So far I have only got as far as 1769 in  Cornwall - which in itself was a surprise - and from the Rogers side of the  family have managed to go back to the days in Dover and the Day family. It is  truly amazing what you can find out in ones efforts to discover ones ancestors.  Like all Genealogists we come up against some brick walls and you will note  that I have some in this effort,but I keep hoping that I shall break through  one of these days and create something my grandchildren will appreciate.
